Down-N-Dirty's donor bike was a 72 cb750 with a with a big bore kit not sure if it's a 836 or 850 the previous owner buys alot of these bikes(stock not
custom or chopped) for cheap and parts them out or resells them and he said the guy he got it from said it had a 860 kit(never heard of it.) but all I know is
she is alot healthier than any stock one i've owned or riden. So I collected some parts and built my first bike.
Here's the list of parts and mods that i've done to her:
She's got a Cycle X Boxer frame, foot pegs. and Carb setup. She's running a dyna ignition with green 3ohm coils, a Barnett race clutch and a Harley
Flat side tank with 2inch extensions welded on. New sprockets and chain, all new cables,New Mac drag pipes. I also made my own wiring harness from scratch, new
solid state Reg/Rec. combo, and a weld on harley kickstand kit. Braided brake lines, oil lines, and fuel lines. Everything has either been made from scratch
modified or customized to fit by me. (My first ground up build.( I'm kinda proud) all I know is she runs like a rapped ape! I have a 76 that had drag pipes
on it and Down-NDirty sounds 10 times meaner than it. Must be bigger bore and compression. Idles like a nasty Harley and revs up sounding like a stock car!
